Kathryn Becker

Kathryn is the Patent Prosecution Paralegal for Pauly, DeVries Smith & Deffner, LLC. Her role includes managing attorney dockets, all aspects of US, PCT and foreign filing applications and communicating with clients. In addition, she serves as a member of the Admin team.

Following a career in hospitality management, Kathryn obtained her Paralegal Certificate and continued her legal studies at Inver Hills Community College. She brings more than seven years of experience supporting U.S., PCT, and foreign patent prosecution.

She is passionate about workflow development and operational improvements, consistently identifying opportunities that strengthen efficiency and cross team collaboration.

Her background includes extensive experience in portfolio management, docketing oversight, structured reporting, and cross functional process design. Kathryn has a specialized focus in IP operations, workflow development, and patent prosecution procedures.

Outside of work, Kathryn enjoys yoga, painting, gardening, and designing obstacle courses for her active family.
